When we returned home from vacation on Saturday, we were deeply saddened to find that our sweet Mispies had died while we were on vacation. It was so hard not only dealing with the physical trials of burying a beloved pet, but the emotional struggle of saying goodbye so suddenly. She didn't appear sick at all and was spry for her 11 years. For those that don't know our kitties well, Mispies was our shy, quirky girl. Even if you've visited our home, you may not have met Mispies, who was fond of hiding until the excitement was over.
Mispies was Erin's cat, and the first acquired of the ones we presently care for. She loved licking plastic (you heard that right), and would spend hours doing so to her heart's content. She was a snoogler, especially with her daddy, and could settle into an arm nook like nobody else. She had a pink belly, and when she was showing it off, you knew she was in a good mood. Living at this house was the happiest I had seen her in the 7 years I've known her.
Daddy, Bubba, Sophie and I will miss you, sweet girl!
